Bloomington, Minn – The Brookshire Company announced the September 1, 2021, commencement of a new building lease they negotiated on behalf of biotechnology company Vascudyne. Outgrowing their facility in Stillwater, Minn, they found a turnkey cleanroom manufacturing facility in St. Paul that will grow with their technology and early-stage development of human allograft tissue that is regenerative in nature and will heal and adapt like native tissue.
Formulating groundbreaking biotechnology, Vascudyne had two challenges: 1) quickly finding a manufacturing site, equipped with an ISO Class 7 cleanroom while 2) minimizing any upfront capital expenditures. Vascudyne formed a partnership with Michael Anderstrom, of The Brookshire Company. Anderstrom brings over 10 years professional experience in the MedTech industry, specializing in Life Science consulting in the areas of FDA Regulatory and Quality, cleanroom manufacturing, ISO 13485, and cGMP. Anderstrom found, toured, and vetted a cleanroom ready sublease site and began negotiating a favorable lease in just 30 days from initial engagement. The lease arrangement will also grant Vascudyne ownership of the cleanroom at the conclusion of the initial lease term.

The unusual challenge of having limited access to upfront capital put an additional barrier in negotiating the lease. I was able to strike an untraditional sublease which allowed our client to execute and take occupancy immediately, allowing for minimal disruption to research and development, and ultimately take ownership of the cleanroom.”
